Slow

I frequently "get lost" when cycling the same route every day. This is bullshit. I know the way. I just don't *like* it. Traffic jam? Let's see if this dogleg into an alleyway will get me to my destination. No? Ok, how about we cross this bridge, because there's an annoying-looking intersection up ahead where I might have to wait for not one, but TWO sets of traffic lights. Oh, I'm technically in a different city now, am I? Neat. Always wanted to be an explorer. Guess I should swing back round tha-WHOA I'm cycling on the motorway. Shit shit abort abort. Into the dodgy underpass beside the hard shoulder where no-one goes and nothing grows. Think I'll write a poem. Ah, where was I? Yes, getting to my lesson, which now ends in 20 minutes. Maybe I'll just walk the bike home and try again tomorrow. Or maybe somewhere round here does... baklava? 🤸‍♂️
